So it looks as though there is something not correct with the co ordinates, so maybe double check.

I accept their has been a problem with the location but I am not sure that it should have been accepted at all.
Personally (and this is just my opinion) this is just a logo as part of a sign for a generic business?

I had exactly the same thought, but was merely commenting on the location. I suspect others will have seen the same thing, but it’s been accepted and therefore hard to get removed.

questionable IMO, but the submitter knows this place best I would say. If not proven, give them the benefit of the doubt I would say.
I wouldn’t go that far. In our criteria clarification we can find the example of a large hammer. It’s not easy to draw a line where the artistic value starts/ends.

I would totally agree with you assessment. Cropping the image to remove the “Sign” signals to me that the submitter knew the sign was not eligible and tried (and partly succeeded) in making out it was something it wasn’t.
To me this is no different to the stripe under Tesco, the slanted i in Lidl or what ever that is above the i in Morrisons…

In my view the description is accurate. However I don’t think I would have approved it, as in my view the sign itself is not special enough, and is indeed a generic business.
But obviously the community liked the sign, so maybe I’m wrong.

Your nomination as shown above showed just a section of the sign so no need to ask question as you have already shown it.

You clearly didn’t look at all the messages if you looked and scrolled up you would have saw this;
How is it deception when I showed the community the sign and surrounding area. The close up image was taken like that so it looks good in the circle when it became a stop. Not deception. Treat others how you wanna be treated. Now I know you want to be accused and put under trial. Enjoy that tribulation. Have a lovely day.

I’m a fan of dishing out what I receive.
That image was not shown as part of the actual nomination, we have no evidence apart from your say so that this was the image used.
Once the “Close Up” image is placed in to a circle it will likely have part of the “art” cropped so it would have looked better if not so tightly cropped.
I do treat others how I wanna be treated, if I nominate something in a way that others have the opinion that it shouldn’t be accepted I want to be told, this way I can learn from it for future nominations.
