Good morning
I’m connecting to another topic that I opened previously ( Wayspot clone - #10 by Gatsu8618 ).
After the clones appeared and then reported you took steps to delete them and I thank you but there are other anomalies as 3 wayspots do not appear in the games. The wayspots are those circled in the screen.
The coordinates are: 45.010405, 7.541705
Furthermore, I also ask for information about the sundial (coordinates: 45.010593, 7.542342) as both the clone and the accepted wayspot have been deleted by nominating it normally, perhaps a deletion error?
As you can see from this screen, the wayspots respect the various rules of the games (some 20m away, some free cell, etc.)
Can you give me some feedback on why they don’t appear?
As these are not my applications, I only monitor the map of the area, if you need it I will have my friends pass me the screens accepted through the in-game applications. @NianticAtlas@NianticTintino@NianticLC@NianticAaron
A thousand thanks
Hi Aaron, why don’t they appear if approved? they were nominated by pokemon (if I remember correctly) but they aren’t in the games.
Also, why did the sundial disappear together with the clone?
Ok @NianticAaron but this has been the situation for almost a month. If you face the various maps (lightship vs pokemon/ingress/etc) you notice that there are requirements to appear in the games but this doesn’t happen.
I don’t want to be invasive but I would like to understand this “error” so that it can’t happen elsewhere or it can be resolved somehow.
Thanks @kawin240 for the intervention.
Except the screenshots and @kawin240’s research clearly show it’s not. Based on all known metrics (the cell rule and the 20-meter rule), these should appear. The only possible way this can be working “as designed” is if there’s some metric even your own ambassadors know nothing about.
Niantic has never acknowledged definite system for inclusion. So, I wouldn’t be surprised if ambassadors do not have a confirmation as well. What you seem to forget is that ambassadors are our representatives and not Niantic employees. So, it’s our ambassadors not their. That sounded very demeaning to the work that ambassadors do for the community.
