My Pokestop suggestion was approved. It meets the location and criteria, but it does not appear in Pokemon Go.
How long has it been since you received the email informing you that your nomination was approved? It usually take up to 48hrs for a wayspot to appear in game after approval if it meets the gameboard rules. An extra delay of a day or two can also sometimes occur, generally when a big in game event is on.
My Pokestop suggestion was approved on November 14th.
Merhaba, it could be that no accepted Wayspots make it to the games in that area because it is still registered as a construction site in the old version of Openstreetmap that Niantic uses. I’m not sure if the Wayfarer Team here in the forum can help you with this.
Another possibility could be, that the university has asked Niantic to exclude their premises from the games.

I don’t think the second option is possible because there are dozens of Pokestops on other campuses.
This is exactly the case.

So am I going to spend 9 hours a day on a 2,600 square meter campus with no Pokestops and no proper Pokemon to spawn?
is there any solution to this?
Yes, you can talk with the responsible of the university and ask them to fill a document that they need to send to Niantic so they can revoque their decission and the wayspots are able to appear again on game.
