Hi there.i am somewhat disappointed that my wayspot nomination has been rejected twice due to not being too historic enough or have cultural significance yet its a place that can accommodate more that 100 ppl,its in an industrial area add to the fact that the area itself can be considered historical with businesses dating back to the 80s my nomination being one of them.in the area there are only powerspots which frankly for me is not that appealing anymore and a change would have been nice.thats why i worked so hard to get to a level that i could nominate places but it seems that was all for nothing.i sometimes wonder if there is any point in continuing to play this game because it doesn’t feel like a game anymore.all of this strict requirements is taking the fun out of the game.just my veiw point on the matter which like my nomination mighty be rejected as well…one other thing i wanted to know…how is a library a suitable wayspot place but a school is not…because that is one of the other nomination that was rejected as well.
Somewhere where people can gather does not make a social space, because people can gather almost anywhere. Similarly for exercise and exploration. The wayspot needs to be something that is geared towards one of social, exercise, exploration.
Being somewhere without existing wayspots nearby is not part of the criteria and doesn’t make a location special. Understanding the eligibility criteria is a good first step for submitting wayspots.
If you want help finding things that would be eligible, then you could post your location and there are people who would be willing to discuss what is in the area and what could be used as a wayspot.
It’s not clear where the best place to post is when you are new to the forums.

It is frustrating to try and play in an area with few pokestops/gyms.
In this area we can help support finding places to nominate ( if you feel comfortable about saying roughly where you are talking about) and about crafting good submissions. There is a lot to learn.

There is a very large area here which has absolutely nothing in Ingress, so had nothing in Pokemon Go in May 2025 before the split. Whether it has anything now in Pokemon GO is not possible to tell from this map.
There should be plenty of things in the residential area to the west of the industrial complex - even at this scale, google maps is showing churches, stadiums etc.
This is the Pokémon map veiw of the area called Deal party.only a few power spots other than that nothing else.even in the adjacent area which you speak of has little or no wayspots
A quick scout around the industrial area is not promising. This looks worse than rural areas for finding anything of interest. Someone else might have more luck…
The residential area to the west of the train lines is very promising though. It is almost certain than it has no wayspots mostly because no-one has submitted any.
It depends on how you sell it, but if this a pedestrian-only bridge perhaps it would work? are you not able to access the residential area to the west that seems to have a museum, park, etc? And how about that beach?
