This park, Jon Clipperton Park (43°34’55.5"N 79°42’46.6"W), appears to have no wayspots both in-game and on the wayfarer map.
However when you try to nominate a stop using Pokemon GO’s in-game settings, these two wayspots appear:
I’m not sure why these wayspots are not appearing on either map, but my theory is that someone incorrectly reported them as being on school property becuase there is a school in the nearby building. Jon Clipperton park is not owned or used by the school. It is a public park owned and managed by the city, as evidenced by the fact that it has the city’s official park signage at the front (and renamed the park in 2014) and that it is not fenced off from the public. The school’s playground is the large fenced-off green space on the other side of the building.
Is there a way for these wayspots to be restored in-game and on the wayfarer map? These POIs are both elegible as places to exercise and explore, and they both exist in their own currently ‘unoccupied’ cell.
(Note: I did not nominate these wayspots so I do not have any rejection emails, etc. - I was going to until I saw there were existing ‘invisible’ POIs.)
