I was looking at our local map and noticed a Wayspot that looks like it should be eligible for a Pokestop, gym. or power spot in Pokemon Go but is not in the game. It appears to be the only stop in the L17 cell and is similar to many of the other exercise themed spot in the sports complex. It has multiple photos which makes me think it used to be a part of the the game. Is there a reason this stop is not included in Pokemon Go?

If it was the property owners request they left the rest of them in game. Its the only one in the park like that. We have a pretty good relationship with the county park managers so I do not think they submitted it, but this game is 10 years old and maybe the previous park managers requested that one removed.
Do you know if this was recently location edited? Maybe a quirk with that process?

Oh!! I see a nearby Campsite location. Is there a Campsite location here that is not showing on the Wayfarer map? I think they didn’t used to, but that is being updated. If the Campsite location is too close to the Pokestop, it appears that the Pokestop turns off.
There is a recent campsite placed there. However, I do not recall there being a pokestop there prior to the campsite. I do recall the campsite being added and being happy they put one there since it a a spot where we group up to raid a nearby gym and it would be nice to spin a stop while waiting on a raid party.
