Hello, i recently stared to submit stuff again and i have got several nominations rejected, rather quicly and i just notice thati think niantics is using AI or some sort of automatic system. On the emails it says:
This decision could be because of the title, description, location, photo, or a combination of criteria. For future nominations
And in the wayfare platform:
Niantic’s automated process for not adhering to Wayfarer criteria.
So i trying to figure out what im doing wrong i attach some examples. Any advise is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
I don’t do well addressing multiple nominations, but will try. The first two look like generic businesses. The third one looks like it may be on the side of a house, which we call SFPRP (single family private residential property) and that would make it ineligible if that is correct. I can’t see the supplemental for the fourth one (too small) but it may have the same issue. The photo for the fifth one is very grainy - it may have rejected for photo quality.
This is just a quick look at what may be the issue. We don’t know exactly what the Machine Learning model is checking, but I would start there. If you want to discuss any of these nominations individually, the community will be happy to try to help.
Wait so they remove the auto reject/accept but only put back the auto reject? Lol thats wild so basically just hope the first few people that review have good sense?
Could be a photo quality issue. If you have time take several photos before nominating so you can pick the best one. Try to make the thing your nominating fill the screen (but not too full if you want it to look good in a particular game) and that it’s well lit and not blurry.
Those first two are just company logos. Not art, not worth exploring, nothing to be social at. The third one looks like SFPRP, as does the last one. Fairly easy for the ML system to reject these.
The auto-accept was accepting things it shouldn’t. That was a harder problem to solve than making the auto-reject correctly reject things it should.
