Maybe you’re right. I don’t think there’s any phrase in Spanish that’s equivalent to that one, though, but it is a good one.
It’s not on their known issues page but I’m pretty sure it has been happening for at least a month so most likely been reported.

Pokemon Go Support will either blame the user, tell you everything is perfectly functional, or reply with something condescending that doesn’t answer the question. Sometimes these things come with a small amount of “compensation”, often none.
I’ve sent them footage before of a raid boss regaining health while simultaneously vanishing my attacker and they’ve told me everything was working fine and that I completed the raid so wouldnt give me a pass refund. Doesn’t matter if I completed the raid or failed due to the issues, or got an encounter screen, or glitched back to the map, they will tell me everything was fine.
Tldr PoGo support do what they like, there’s no such thing as customer service and they don’t look at your message or evidence unless they fancy it.

This looks like an issue with sync. Give it a few days and it will get fixed. Meanwhile, your Pokémon should be back to your account.
