Welcome to the forum!
I am sorry to see you so frustrated. The system is not a scam, though. There are well defined criteria for Wayspots. Here is a link you can bookmark: Wayspot Criteria — Wayfarer Help Center
As to why your accepted Wayspots are not becoming Pokestops, see this topic: Why an accepted Wayspot may not be used in Pokemon Go (S2 cells and Pokemon Go)
If you have more specific questions after reading that, you can ask. We can talk through a rejection you don’t understand or give you a visual on the cells.
Hello @9328003049
Sorry to hear that so far you have not been able to create a pokestop.
I understand why the language that you use is around chance and of things outside of your control - playing the game is very like that. However Wayfarer is different, and you are much more in control of being successful.
The key to that success is about learning more about how it all works. You sound as though you have developed an understanding about criteria.
This community of fellow Wayfinders will be happy to support you to try and turn this situation around.
I’d like to ask some questions so we can help more
Have you had some wayspots approved or do they usually get rejected?
Are you happy to share some of those wayspots so we can have a close look and find ways to improve. If you can provide the whole nomination photos, text and location that works best.
Hard to tell why. Sorry to hear about your struggles.
I struggled in the beginning. I discovered that there seems to be some typical practice about interpretation.
For instance, playgrounds are almost automatically ok. A sign (for example historical info, a big map,…) will help a lot, easier to get approved that lots of other things.
But for something that’s ‘only’ something that fits the criterias, you may need to try several submissions before it’s accepted. Commonly ‘reasons’ may for example be that someone thinks it’s private property (although it isn’t, but that can be hard to tell from a map and a picture if you haven’t been there yourself).
Do put your best effort in taking interesting or good pictures, and write neutral and relevant without insisting that ‘this has to be a wayspot’.
Today, most of my submissions are usually approved, but it’s been some thinking and learning…
Best wishes!
If you learn about s2 cells, you can tell with certainty if its gonna be pokestop or powerspot , before you submit it. Just know that you cant use this knowledge to missplace wayspot in order to create pokestop.
I don’t even know if I should answer here, there are so many good wayfarers that already answered. Judging by your request type, text and format I’d say it’s okay to tell you: it’s probably okay
