How does someone understand the cell radius, i see many locations near one another. This would ve for efficiency purposes. Id like to not submit for a spot that wouldnt work

We are not allowed to link to the tools but searching for “Wayfarer Tools” will help. This add additional features such as the cells to the Wayfarer Map.

NOTE: Never use knowledge of the cells to misplace a nomination to try and get it in to the game. This is classed as abuse and can lead to warnings / Suspension on Wayfarer and GAMES.

Wayspots can appear close to each other as long as the are in different cells. Technically you could have 4 close by as long as they are in the corners…

Remember that if your nomination doesn’t appear as Stop / Gym…

  • become a Powerspot (Dynamax / Gigantamax) depending on its proximity to other waypoints.
  • replace the existing waypoint if that is removed for legitimate reasons. ***
  • be used in other Scopely games.

***Do Not attempt to get a legitimate wayspot removed just to get yours on to the map. This is seen as Abuse and can lead to suspension / bans of all accounts (Wayfarer, Pokemon Go and any other Scopely games).

The location is quite packed already so getting more will be difficult.

Maybe taking a look at other locations that you visit…

This is not true. Even if it cant become pokestop, unused wayspot might become powespot, which is beneficial when max monday happen

Even if your wayspot isn’t eligible to be used as a Pokéstop or Gym right now, it will still be in the database, and if the existing Pokéstop or Gym in that cell is removed, yours could then become active to replace it. And if it’s at least 22 metres from any existing Pokéstops or Gyms, then it would be eligible to be used as a Power Spot in the meantime.

Exactly this. Several POIs in my city are physically no longer there, but it makes no difference to the game, because there are already other POIs in the game that immediately became stops in their place when they were removed.
