Withdrawal of "in voting" nominations

It’s been discussed in 2023 june AMA, but nothing since.
Why aren’t we allowed to withdraw nominations in voting.

As delay is more than a year for reviews to be done a lot of nomination already exist due to some other upgrading theres.

What the point to keep those in voting ?

That is a fantastic question.

Ambassadors have raised this issue in the past, and will continue to do so.

And withdrawing appeals has been mentioned before. Yet here we are.
