I’ve submitted three contributions on the 1st of April and they have been stuck ever since. I know that contributions can sometimes take longer but this seems longer than I have ever experienced with fellow Wayfarer friends now getting their contributions checked within 24 hours.
I suspect that these might actually be stuck in the system. Wayfarer support gives me a standard generated response that it may take long etc. but what I’d like to find it is whether the system is not accidentally bugged on my end.
Hi and welcome to the forum! I appreciate that a wait since April may seem long but in my perspective this is still not abnormal.
There are different types of review: community review, Niantic review, automated ML (machine learning) review. Depending on which bucket your nomination falls into, the time the review takes will be very different. The latest implemented type (ML, very fast) seems to be what your friends are experiencing, whereas yours were not picked up by this system. Not to go all “the good old days” on you, but just for perspective, just a few months ago, it was totally normal for some areas to have to wait 2 years to reach a community decision, and fast ML reviews didn’t exist.
Things that could help:

where are you based roughly? In some areas community review takes a long time to reach consensus due to the relative lack of reviewers.
lastly but importantly, do you review yourself? If you reach a certain number of agreements while performing community reviews on the Wayfarer website, you can earn an Upgrade which will put your nomination at the forefront of the queue for your country, which should normally help speed it up dramatically.
