I submitted a new wayspot on the 28th of August, and it is still “in voting” although a few people I asked could not see it at all. is there any way to find out if there is a problem/bug?

Not too long back, there were people with nominations in queue for over 2 years.

Unfortunately, there is no set timeframe for resolution for submissions. It can take days, weeks, months, even years at times, for a submission to be decided upon. Niantic also doesn’t reveal how many votes from reviewers are needed for a decision is made.
However, you can help your local queue, and possibly get upgrades as well by reviewing yourself. Upgrades are gained when you get 100 agreements with other reviewers, and, when applied to a submission that’s in queue or in voting, open up your submissions for review to a larger area, which may lead to a quicker resolution. the problem is i don’T even see it in the review myself nor do others that i asked… may have to retry
anyway i just wanted to make sure there is no tehcnical issue cuz we couldn’T find it in the review list at all
thing is i had another one approved within a day and 3 other denied within 24hours lol
You never aee your own submissions while reviewing. If you did and voted to approve them, this could be seen as abuse, hence why we can’t review what we submit.
As for those decided within 24 hours, I’m guessing that ML, the AI system, decided those. ML makes decisions within 24-48 hours, and the emails will say “our team” made the decision instead of “our community.”
Again, there’s nothing wrong from what I’m seeing, especially since it’s not an upgraded submission. Niantic doesn’t disclose how many reviewers need to vote on a submission before a decision is made, so it’s possible that there hasn’t been enough votes yet.
And yes, we aren’t joking when we say some submissions have taken years to be decided upon; in some areas with few reviewers it can take some time.
That would be a bug.
I see that the nomination is receiving votes. Infact, it received a couple of votes just a few hours ago.
Yes, it would be a bug to most reviewers, but not all if it was allowed. The OP is new to the forums, so may also be new to Wayfarer in general.
Just educating on why we don’t see our own submissions while reviewing.
