3 Pokestops just vanished in just one week from one cell

I don’t have an answer to why those have been removed among others particularly. What can be done is to make a better case on why it should be restored if it does meet the current criteria.

Is the salon and the gym separate businesses? Being a gym would resonate closer to eligibility than a salon IMO; a gym is a place to exercise and a salon to freshen up your look. I don’t see where it shows that the salon is also a gym, add proof of this.

I recommend adding your own geotagged photos. Anything to prove it exists at this location and how it would meet acceptance + not meet any rejection criteria.

So people with autism or older folks dont deserve to play games? Im 4 years away from being old enough to live in one of these kinds of places. You better believe that i will be rather angry if some gatekeeper with a false understanding of community integration and aging with dignity gets all my wayspots removed.

Yep, we must be wrapped in cotton wool and protected from damaging ourselves by hearing the noise of players aparrently.

…no acknowledgement that we might be the players

If I was preparing to move to a place like this I would be thinking “can I submit some waypoints”

It literally is

You are saying that people like me and @elijustrying and @seaprincesshnb shouldn’t be able to play and that you would prefer any waypoints within our reach to be removed, in a hypothetical scenario where we were currently in asssited living.

You’re not understanding what aging, illness and disability mean. I’m assuming this means you’ve not been through this either personally or watching someone close to you. That’s good. But please try to understand how youre coming across

  1. Being older doesnt change you as much as young people think it does.
  2. Having a terminal illness doesnt mean you’re immediately dying, or that you stop being you. It’s boring and frustrating, and doing normal hobbies is very helpful
  3. Many people have disabilities and full social lives and multiple interests.
  4. These games really attract neurodivergent people. So picking on autism as a reason to remove waypoints is, wow, I just cant articulate how that makes me feel right now but not good.

Yes, i will defend inclusion til the day i die. The attitude that persons with imperfect health, disabilities, or the elderly need to be separated away from the public and “not disturbed” is a problem in Western society. I work in the disabilty community. We fight for better inclusion, genuine inclusion, not just performative inclusion.

Thankyou. :yellow_heart:
I really can’t believe some of the opinions from this thread. It’s quite saddening.

Back to the topic, the sign for a care/assisted living facility is no more eligible than the sign for an apartment complex. But statues, fountains, gazebos, picnic areas, athletic areas, trails, exercise spots, etc - all of those are just as eligible as any other location that isn’t a school

That’s not the topic.
