Hi.
I’ve had a wayspot accepted but it has yet to show up on pogo. I understand there is potentially a 48 hour window in which it might yet upload, but looking into similar posts, I suspect It may have fallen foul of the 1 POI within a level 17 S2 rule. Is someone willing to check on this? Ive tried to utilize the iitc app but I’m failing miserably. I guess my question is; is there some wiggle room for
Some minor editing of the location of the existing stop/gym to result in the deck falling into its own level level 17 square? Or is it hopeless?
Approximate co-ordinates:
Brass Creek Playground (existing pokestop) 42.35255° N, 83.88150° W
Brass creek Picnic Area (existing gym) 42.35259° N, 83.88173° W
Brass Creek Deck (the accepted way spot not appearing on pogo) 42.35278° N, 83.88172° W
Yes it falls in an occupied cell with no wiggle room, right in the middle of two occupied cells… however it should be in Ingress. How did you submit this nomination?
Through the pokestop contribution process in Pokemon go.
Thank you for checking. I suspected as much. It’s a shame. Another pokestop in the park would have been nice.
Out of interest, roughly how large an area does a level 17 S2 cover?
I hope this is useful.
The distance is not important it’s the line that matters.
2 objects may only be a few feet apart but if the invisible cell line goes between them then you have two wayspots that can appear in Pokémon Go - but might not appear in another game following different rules.
