I made a post to where my Pokestops are at and I’m told that one of them should be a stop
Bug Reports should include the following and any additional information you feel is necessary to aid in the investigation of the bug.
Thanks for your feedback. We’re constantly making improvements to Pokémon GO and occasionally, you may notice changes to the PokéStops or Gyms in your community. While we are not able to fulfill your request to add back these locations at this time, we recognize the disappointment this may have caused and hope you continue to seek out adventures at other PokéStops and Gyms in your surrounding communities.
I understand you are concerned that some of your Wayspots do not show as PokéStops or Gyms in Pokémon GO. We apologize for any disappointment this may cause, however, not all Wayspots become PokéStops or Gyms.
After a nomination is approved by reviewers, there is an additional automated review that determines whether the nomination is an appropriate fit for each particular Niantic game. Each game has their own set of criteria for this step, so some nominations may be accepted into one game but not another.
The most common reason that an eligible nomination is not added to Pokémon GO is because the nomination is too close to existing PokéStops or Gyms. If an existing game location is removed or the criteria changes, the nomination may appear within Pokémon GO at a later time.
I’m still not understanding because both of them was spins at one point. Is there away to get at least one of them back? What about the power up spot can’t that be a spin or a gym? I’ve seen others spins right next to each other or even on top of them
The pokestops are both/all close to the edges of their cells, or even to the corners of their cells. Each level17 S2 cell can only have one pokestop, but it is possible to have four pokestops close together at the corners where four cells meet.
Years ago, wayspots could be moved and the pokestop inclusion rule was not recalculated. This way, lots of wayspots could be added to appear as pokestops in the wrong location (because people didn’t check) and then moved into close proximity. For example, statues in a public square.
As you can see here where the orange spot is that’s not the right spot for that spin. The white arrow where you place the submission that’s where it should be. At the time it was submitted my finger accidentally placed it in the wrong spot and not realizing it was placed there until after the fact
Can you show the image from Pokemon Go submission map and indicate where these four features are, all of which will exist on this map unless they have been explicitly removed. Two of these were pokestops/gyms; the other 2 will almost certainly have been used as powerspots.
