I am writing to respectfully appeal the recent warning I received regarding my PokéStop nomination. The warning claims that I intentionally misplaced the location; however, this is not true.

When submitting my nomination for Quán Bò Tơ Ông Minh at 100 Tieu La Street, Danang City, Vietnam, I carefully ensured that the coordinates were correct. I also included a video showing the exact physical location and surrounding landmarks to verify its accuracy.
Unfortunately, Google Maps currently displays outdated and inaccurate information for this address. The map still shows Hoa Viên Restaurant (the previous business name) in one spot, and Bò Tơ Ông Minh in another — even though they are the same location. This map inconsistency likely caused the misunderstanding.
As supporting evidence, I attached:

A video recording clearly showing the real establishment and its surroundings (including the two reference points: a residential house at the start of the video and a red motorbike repair shop at the end).

A Google Street View image (from about 5 years ago) showing Hoa Viên Restaurant at the same address.
The business has since changed ownership and name to Bò Tơ Ông Minh over a year ago, but the address remains the same (100 Tieu La Street). The surrounding buildings still match both the Street View image and my video evidence.
I strongly believe this issue was caused by Google Maps’ outdated location data, not by any intentional misplacement on my part. I have always followed Wayfarer’s guidelines carefully and submitted legitimate, accurately placed nominations to help improve the local map.
I kindly ask the team to review my submission and remove the warning, as my intent and supporting evidence clearly show that the nomination was submitted correctly and honestly.
Additional Clarification – Why This Location Qualifies as a Valid Wayspot:
Quán Bò Tơ Ông Minh is a well-known and reputable restaurant in the Hoa Cuong neighborhood of Danang City. It specializes in fresh, locally sourced beef dishes prepared daily and has become one of the area’s most popular dining spots.
The restaurant has a spacious, well-lit, and welcoming environment that makes it a safe and accessible gathering place for both locals and visitors. It stands out as a landmark within the community, serving as a meeting point for families and friends, and reflecting the local food culture of the area.
Because of its cultural significance, popularity, and safe public accessibility, this location fully meets Niantic Wayfarer’s criteria for a place that encourages exploration, exercise, and social connection.
