Appeal for removed PokéStop - Starting Point of Walking Trail "Plac zabaw"

Hello,
I would like to appeal the removal of my Pokéstop "Plac zabaw ", which was recently removed from Pokémon GO. This Wayspot is the official starting point of a marked walking trail and fully meets Niantic’s criteria as a place that encourages exploration and exercise.

The Wayspot has existed in this location for a long time and remains valid and accessible to the public. The removal might have been based on incorrect information, and I believe it was a mistake.

I am providing photospheres, current pictures, and additional documentation to confirm that the trail and the starting point still exist at the submitted location.

Could you please review this appeal and consider restoring the Pokéstop?

Title of the Wayspot: Plac zabaw
Adress: al.3 Maja 14, Chełm, Poland
Coordinates: 51.14312, 23.47160 (Chełm, Poland)

Thank you for your attention and assistance.

There are photos of the physical location of the removed Pokéstop. The object trail marker still exists in the same spot and serves as the starting point of the walking trail.

Welcome to the forum @idk225

You may wish to have this post moved to Wayspot Appeals , and you may also want to provide the coordinates or address of the wayspot in question to help staff find the location of the wayspot in order to help them make a decision on whether to restore it or not.

Okay, thanks for the advice! I will update the post with the correct category and add the coordinates and address.

Hello and welcome @idk225
I am moving this to the appeals section since its a restoration of a wayspot request.

Hi and welcome! I do not understand at all why we are talking about a walking trail when the nomination is clearly a playground?

Whatever else happens to be nearby is irrelevant for this specific object’s eligibility - what you would usually focus on when appealing a removal is the continued existence of the object, the fact that it is not on school territory, not on private residential property, etc (I do not know what the problem with this specific one was so these are only speculative examples of issues that frequently have to be addressed in appeals).

Information about the walking trail is only helpful if you are nominating the trail specifically. A playground is usually plenty eligible on its own, provided that everything else checks out. If I’m misunderstanding something and you are appealing some kind of trail marker instead then please clarify.

There is another Wayspot connected to the same object. This is why this Wayspot was removed.
