Appeal rejected photo removal request

When submitting a Wayspot Appeal, make sure to include as much of the following information as possible:

  • Additional Information (if any):
    This business moved from 35.736575,-78.7971 where I submitted it in 2022 to 35.743982,-78.736693 where support decided to put it when I reported the location had moved. I submitted a photo from the current location, and asked the other two that don’t match this location to be removed. They refused. You can see that the two older photos do not match this location.

The parking lot Street View is out of date, but you can just barely see in this street view that the green awning photo is the current building.

You can also see that there is no overhang or glass all the way up to the roof at this location as there is in the two 2022 photos.

Wayspots Appeals is for rejected reports submitted through the in-game/map reporting avenues.

So is the appropriate action here to re-request the photos be removed through a form?

Yes, since the ticketing avenues allow you to communicate with the team and submit additional information, it’s not feasible for us to re-review the rejected requests.

I see one of the old ones with the new one still, but one has been removed.

Whoever gets my report is going to be so confused, but that is progress.

It’s odd how different people get see the map from different points in time. I looked after @SlimboyFat71 posted and saw what they saw, which is just one (correct) photo.

Maybe they were removed because of my post here, and then whoever got my form got confused and started putting them back.
