Need help from the team here! I submit a wayspot from home using images id taken but accidentally submit it at a location further down the road that looks very similar to where it is meant to be. It got accepted but it’s so far from where it needs to be I can’t put in a location edit. It’s currently now sitting at a private residence. I reported it but the appeal got rejected and I’m not sure. Please assist!
The wayspot is called “The Dog House” and sits at 52.779949, -2.201996 on jolt lane Haughton, Stafford, England.
Lol looks like they have moved it.
It may take a sync or two to see the new in game location. Check again in couple of hours from now.

Maybe they had already moved it based on someone else’s report!
Depending on how long ago you submitted it, it’s perfectly possible someone else moved it in that time. If that had happened, you would have got this rejection.

The location was edited as a result of the removal report.

Lol I shouldn’t have trashed my first answer. If this ever happens again, you can use help chat to request an edit that you can’t do in game, whether because it is too far or because the Wayspot is not in Pokemon Go to do a report from there. If you go to https://wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/new/help a text bubble will pop up
and you can ask for the move. Be aware that they will only do this for real world reasons, and may need location tagged photos when the move isn’t as obvious as it was here.
