Appealing Mural Rejection

It is trendy lately for businesses to get unique murals done by artists to add some appeal to their locations. Even if they’re associated with a chain business, murals that include an artist signature and are unique pieces for a location, should absolutely qualify as wayspots. I don’t understand why this particular mural is having such a hard time passing. Yes, my description was a little short as it was one of 70 I did that week, but should be sufficient.
Whether it is painted on the surface or is a wrap that was installed, it’s still unique art, no different than the utility wraps and Walmart murals that have generally been deemed acceptable.

When I used Google Lens, it doesn’t seem to be unique to this location. Do you have evidence that it is? Or that this is the original?

Looks like bongang is in partnership with jamba juice

This should be interesting. It looks like jamba juice might use the same design in multiple store. I am eager to see what niantic stance on this.

Fair point. The signature claims it to be a “mural” We’ll see what the decision is.
