Approved Wayspot not appearing

Hi, everyone

I would like to get some insights regarding an approved Wayspot that is not showing up.

Situation:
・Status: Accepted (May 3rd,JST)

・Environment: There are no existing Wayspots nearby according to the Wayfarer Map

・S2 Cell: I have confirmed that the Level 17 cell is unoccupied, provided that my original coordinates were not moved during review process

The Issue:
Despite being approved on May 3rd, the Wayspot is not visible even on the Niantic Wayfarer Map

Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening? I am just genuinely curious about the reason for this situation. I would appreciate any insights you could share.

If this is your nomination, when was it approved? If it is, Niantic may need to get involved and explain why it hasn’t been added.

These two wayspots are both showing on the wayfarer map with a curious status

ツタンカーメン・ミュージアム (35.458591,139.625626)
PLOT48 (35.458393,139.625949)

They are both marked as LIVE, but do not have an indication of whether they were Imports or Community Submissions, or whether they are showing up as pokestops or gyms. They are both the only wayspots in their respective cells.

Niantic may need to check whether they are showing as intended. 6 days is long enough for them to become active.

Plot48 is in the next cell. So it shouldn’t impact the OP’s nomination. There may be a sync issue, or if the nomination is located on a business, it may be geoblocked.

That is very strange. On my Wayfarer Map, neither of those wayspots is showing up at all—the map is completely empty for me.

I see, a geoblock is certainly a possibility.

On my Wayfarer Map, the area is completely empty and I don’t see any pins. Should I post a screenshot of my map to show you what I am seeing?

I don’t need to see what you are seeing, but it may benefit someone else.

Just want to confirm that you are looking at the official Wayfarer map and not something like IITC (which is no longer associated with Wayfarer and Pokemon Go) or one of the player sourced maps?

Thank you. Just in case it helps with the investigation, here is the screenshot of my Wayfarer Map. As you can see, nothing is displayed.

I apologize for the basic question, but the map you shared looks different from the one I see in my management list. Out of curiosity, is that a special tool or website? On my official Wayfarer map, the area is still completely empty as you can see in my image.

I can’t post the link to the specific site, but you may want to google Wayfarer Tools. The site that takes you to the Wayfarer Discord server is the site where you can get the tools. The tools are “use at your own risk” and is not supported by the Niantic.

I see, I didn’t know such tools existed. That is very interesting and should be helpful for the investigation. I also understand that they are “use at your own risk.”

I’m starting to feel that it might be a geoblock, but it would be much clearer if there were an official comment from Niantic.
