I submitted my nomination on June 14, then I upgraded it on June 15. It still hasn’t gone to voting. Other nominations which I nominated prior or after this have come to resolution after 4-8 hours. What’s going on?
It has been observed that there is a random delay period before a nomination can move into active voting. The upgrade only takes affect once it is in that active voting queue by showing it to a wider range of reviewers.
So give it several more days as currently this is following the expected route.
Don’t know if I should be pissed or laughing. 2 other nominations just went to voting but the one I upgraded is still in queue.
It’s possible the one still in the queue is too close to other wayspots that are already in voting. There’s always been a limit to how many in a given area can be in review at the same time.
Could this answer why the other nominations have gone to voting but the upgraded one hasn’t?
Upgrading speeds up review once it gets picked up for voting by opening it up to a wider reviewer pool, but doesn’t make it get to voting any faster.
