Bug: Appeal submission without consent

I just saw that a rejected wayspot of mine got appealed without any action on my side. Now it is on Niantic Voting.

But I did appeal once for another submission and the “appeal” tag disappeared from that.

Seems like the system moved the appeal from one to another, automatically.

For this now appealed wayspot, I resubmitted it with better photos and it was approved, the one that is now on Niantic voting is a submission with bad photos.

It is likely to do with this and will not have used an Appeal.
