Hi guys,
Do you know of anyway to check your review rating, I’ve heard you used to be able to do this to ensure you are reviewing in the correct way.
Obviously I can see how many agreements I have to reviews submitted and yes that agreements are staggered so I appreciate my agreements will naturally increase over time.
Secondly I upgraded a contribution 3 days ago but it’s still in queue, do you know what the typical upgrade turnaround time is compared to non upgraded submissions?
Cheers
Gonna answer the second first. Upgrading a submission sends it to a broader pool of reviewers, from farther away from you. That doesn’t mean it’s going through queue quicker, just that once it’s in voting, it’ll be blasted to a bigger group and hopefully reach a consensus hastily, with more eyes on it.
“Upgrades” only have effect on the “In Voting” section…
Not entirely true. The most common reason somthing sits "in queue " for a long time is because something in a neighboring lv17 cell is currently being voted on. This helps reduce the chance duplicates end up in voting at the same time. Applying an upgrade to a submission in queue like this will bypass the block and push it into voting. It’s really odd that the upgrade was applied and the nomination has still been in queue for 3 days. It should have moved into voting long ago.
Do you have evidence of this?
As a small number nominator with plenty of upgrades I use one of all submissions and when I have nominated close by they have still worked 1 at a time.
I have definitely had “Upgraded” nominations still take the full 7 day grace period before moving alone.
Yes, I’ll have to go dig through my data. I did the study about 4 years ago and brought it to the discord. If the nomination got upgraded too early it could still get stuck in the waitroom for about 7 days. Anything upgraded within the first 24 hours of submission used to get stuck in this loop untill niantic removed the upgrade button for early nominations.
To be safe its best to wait 2-3 days before upgrading. The best way to tell when nominations have cleared the risky period is by waiting till another nomination from the same day enters voting.
Its going to take awhile to get to my old study. I need access to my computer files. I do have a case from recently though. I made this nomination on may 23 and it has sat in queue for the last two weeks, blocked by a nearby submission in voting. I upgraded it yesterday morning where it entered voting in minutes and was resolved in just a few hours. I have tracking tools to prove when it was upgraded and when it entered voting but that will also take a few days. No access to my computer right now.
Thanks still in queue so by what people are saying it could well queue until day 7 which is the 14th.
I’ve got one other stop I nominated on the 8th, when I get another upgrade I’ll apply it and see if that goes through quicker than my earlier one.
I had previously applied an upgrade to a contribution and it was inside 7 days, once upgrade was on I received a resolution inside 24 hours.
My only thinking is I applied the upgrade too soon!
