Regardless, probably is a canopy due to how small it is. Would this be considered a good acceptable way point?
Basically trying to get an idea if I should invest my time or ignore this and save myself a headache.

Either way, it looks “interesting” enough I wouldn’t immediately reject it for being called the “wrong” thing, as long as it doesn’t appear hyper generic in your area.
I found that these are in Irwindale, CA, from the logo on the bench, and they are bus stops. Pretty generic throughout the city. Here are some of the ones I found.

Could you share your argument for why you think this structure (which appears to be a typical bus shelter in the area) is a great place to explore, to exercise, or to socialize? That’s the rationale you need to make.
