I need validation on this nomination

So I got the famous message from ML of Not accepted because does not meet wayfarer criteria.

Just wanna double check with you all in regards to 4 things.

  1. Pergola is a valid nomination correct?
  2. Do the photos do it justice?
  3. For the categories I only put pergola, should I add something else?
  4. This is worth an appeal?

a pergola is not an automatic accept. a pergola can meet criteria as a great place to be social or explore - not usually for exercise, but i guess it could be depending on what is underneath it. to me, this just looks like an entrance to a store - no benches for being social, nothing special to explore. if that is incorrect, then you need to show it in the photo.

Have to agree that this looks like part of the entrances at this building, so not really a pergola. Even the 800 on it gives it away as more of an entrance than a pergola.

I was excited when I saw it, was surprised when I got the ML rejection. I assumed ML wasn’t able to identify it , but the explanations I’m receiving make sense.
