Being that this is already a Wayspot and doesn’t seem to meet the S2 density rules for PoGo, that doesn’t mean it may not be used as a Power Spot. Power Spots are a mix of imports and unused Wayspots. You may want to see the clarification on them, as this could show up from time to time as a Power Spot.
And yes, I’m a PoGo only Wayfarer, and many of my approved Wayspots didn’t become stops/gyms, but I’m ok with that once I learned what we are doing with Wayfarer. If someone from Ingress gets a portal, I’m cool wth that. If the Wayspot doesn’t get used at all, well, it could be used by developers.
Lastly, the slider to turn on and off Wayspots on the location screen is super helpful in PoGo.
