Personally…no. You could say such thing to literally everywhere.
Absolutely not
Alleys are pretty indistinct and located in many places around the world. They aren’t unique enough to be Wayspots, so this most likely will not be approved. If it hasn’t gone into voting yet, I would recommend withdrawing it.
Hi @Julian880077
Your description is talking about a community park. If you could nominate that your chances will be much higher for an acceptance.
There’s a car that can be seen in the background parked here. I doubt this is fully pedestrian.
its a community gathering area here plus if something happens there are cameras around there are also relaxing benches where people can sit around and lots of community gatherings such as new year are held here and in nearby places
for cars only someone with a villa can bring them
but for ppl that don’t have villa and bring car there is a parking lot and charing alley right infant of the villas fits like 1,000 of them (don’t know the total)
yeh but mines is INDEFINITLEY REAL
Would you share the location?
Alley must mean something different in your country, in England an alley is something quite narrow - 1 person at a time, and if you’re carrying a bag you might have to hold it in front or behind as there’s not enough space ![]()
Your nomination looks like somewhere that you could walk or meet someone, but it doesn’t look like a distinctive location to do so - it just looks like a street. The wayfarer criteria are about great places to exercise, socialise or explore so just being able to do something somewhere isn’t quite enough. For example you can walk or run or cycle on any street but they aren’t specifically designed for that, and one point on the street isnt a better location than another point on the street. So I would expect this to be rejected as “not distinct”.
Does that make sense? I know its probably not what you wanted to hear but we’d love to help with ideas of things that can be accepted ![]()
Without any signage your nomination is going to be tough, what you describe doesnt seem to be its main intended purpose, but rather somethingthat just happens to happen there, like a “block party”.
Here in the states, alleys could be vehicular access alleys, where it’s only wide enough for a singular car. Usually between the back side of homes/properties. Pedestrian only alleys are less common.
County lanes are also fun here vs over in the US. You can find some lovely ones to walk on, but they’re available to cars too, labelled 60mph but they’re single track with grass growing down the middle ![]()
Yeah, that’s not pedestrian only.
I do believe these could be at the Star Villas in Star City in Myanmar, and have discussed Star City in the past, and what may or may not be eligible there.
I even looked at the villas here, and there are driveways for the houses, so cars are allowed. It’s also less an alley and more of a street for the villas, especially since it appears that there are sidewalks for pedestrians on the sides of the street.
Its not about real or not. What your photo shown is something common which i would reject as indistinct if i ever see one. It seems like common pedestrian which can be seen everywhere.
here there are barely any cars and there are pave ways for the people to walk and enjoy their time. Plus, villas to chill at that are FOR the community (that are For the community not owned by anyone else)
I get it and I completely understand, in fact I live quite the distance like near b zone which is near one of the swimming pools in the community but from this place but people seem to gather there consistently
thanks for your help everyone it got unaccepted but I will still try to make my pogo community lively!
