Error message while submitting a wayspot

I tried to submit a wayspot and after filling everything out and hit submit it comes up with an error message that says i have to link my email. I checked and they are linked. Please help. Thanks

Thanks for writing in.

It looks like you may have created your Facebook account with a mobile number, or you may have declined to share your Facebook email address with Pokémon GO. As a result, your Pokémon GO account does not have an email address associated with it. In order for us to move forward, you’ll need to add an email address to your account. Below are the instructions to add an email address to your Facebook account:

  1. Visit Facebook’s General Account Settings page. Make sure you have an email address listed under Contact. Click “Add another email or mobile” to add a new email address to your account.
  2. Next, share your email address with the Pokémon GO app. Start by visiting the “Your Facebook Apps and Websites Settings” page from the list of connected apps. Select email address under “Info you provide to this app”.
  3. Log out and log back into Pokémon GO. For more information see https://www.facebook.com/help/162801153783275?helpref=faq_content

Alternatively, you can log in to your Pokémon GO using Google log in method and you will be able to nominate Wayspots.

Thank you so much for answering my questions. I checked a few times and saw it had both my Facebook and Google email on pokemon go, but your last instruction about apps and settings for some reason, had pokemon expired so I resubmitted it. The weird thing is I did submit one in February and it went thru. Maybe my last phone update. I will try it on my walk today but I think you might have solved the problem.

I will keep the instructions in case my trainer friends have the same issue.
