Here comes two screenshots of my nomination, it has been rejected with the reason duplicate, however there is NO pokestop or gym in this location today.

If you feel comfortable please share the location, as it is helpful (i.e. hidden duplicates), but you can mask it if you wish.

Please explain, why it is duplicate while the pokestop is not in the game ? I applied the pokestop since march (6 months ago) which is totally unacceptable and unfair.
By the way, I play pokemon go, not other games.

I do see that this playground is already a Wayspot in Lightship, so the duplicate rejection is correct:
There are 3 Wayspots in this area, and it’s looks like this one doesn’t show up in PoGo due to the game’s density rules. Each Niantic game uses the Lightship map for game play locations (Powers Spots are the exception), and each game has different density rules. PoGo uses S2 cells, and Ingress uses a 20 meter rule. There is a playground Wayspot already.
We submit Wayspots, not Pokestops. They can only become Pokestops or gyms if alone in an L17 S2 cell. A great article to explain about this is
You can turn on the toggle in the nomination Map screen to check to see if any Wayspots exist already that are not being used by Pokemon Go like this

Well the other pokestop in the area were added couple of days ago, so there were no density, we had only one in the area, and I wished the playground will be the next, but the playground stuck in duplicate and we got something else… totally unfair.
I’m sorry to hear your disappointment. As we have mentioned, there are density rules for each Niantic game, so not all approved Wayspots will be in every game; we don’t get any exceptions to these rules as users/players from Niantic either. I have had many approved Wayspots not appear in PoGo, and I’m ok with that, as they may be in Ingress, or could one day be used as Power Spots. They may even get used by independent developers that have access to the Lightship map for whatever they’re developing.
Again, you may want to read up on S2 cells, and how they work for the density of stops/gyms in PoGo, so you have a better understanding in the future when submitting new Wayspots. It’s still a plus that this area has stops, and that all can play Niantic games in this area.
