Ive never tried haggis. I dont think its gluten free so I dont think I could try it now
Haggis should be made with oatmeal so getting a gluten free version is perfectly feasible.
There is a higher than average incidence of coeliacs in Scotland.
Gluten? Oatmeal? I am so confused about what haggis is now. But it’s OK, no one has to explain it to me.
Ohhhhh wow! It’s never been listed as gluten free the few times I’ve seen it available, but yes I can eat oats! Black pudding had a similar problem
And here we see how a farmers market is important for exploring fun food options!
Edit: I looked up a recipe, wow that gets cooked for a long time.
Something like this?
Edinburgh Farmers Market
Award winning market specialising in high quality produce since 2001. Pick up Smokies from Arbroath, Bridies from Forfar, Islay Whisky, Shetland knitwear, cheeses from Orkney, beer, chocolate, venison, bread, oils, jams and pastries from Leith, Glasgow, Skye, Dumfries, Arran, Dundee, Oban and of course haggis. Vendors from France, Syria, Italy, Thailand and more can also be found along with events, recipes, food to go and educational stalls all set under Edinburgh Castle.
Edinburgh Market is a great place to find many local products. The location, atmosphere and wide variety of produce to buy, try and learn about make this a great day out in Scotland’s capital city
Looks to see if i can book on a train with a very large backpack and go
That must count as exploring
