Niantic didn’t remove the gym that I reported lately they just moved it in into another cell.the gym causes a major traffic in this area and obstruct emergency services of naval (Philippines Soldiers) it affects a lot of their normal operations because this area is a narrow pathway for vehicles and no pedestrians way. Some soldiers tell us or other players to “Go Away”. Hope Niantic will remove it for the safety of other player and they will not risk their life for just a gym raid.

While I am not familiar with military bases in the Philippines or the wayspot itself, it may be eligible. Wayspots can occur on military bases if they follow eligibility criteria (great place to be social/ exercise/explore and don’t meet any of the rejection restrictions.

Adding: this looks to be a shopping district so I’m a bit confused how it would impact operations of the base?
It is down to players to make sure they are safe and not causing issues for others whilst playing the game.
You could suggest to the people in charge to contact Niantic as the “Property Owner”. Although it does sound like this is off the base Niantic should act where a local property owner reports a problem.
If you do not feel safe interacting with the waypoint then you should not use it.
