The photos I showed were NOT my nominated spots. These were from others, and successful. And yes, these are 1. In the middle of the road (but it was acceptable) and 2. On private property (and it was acceptable).

These were NOT my nominations. That’s why this is so frustrating. Others got these accepted. And I don’t know how that can happen.

It only makes me conclude that this process is rigged and infair.

There are MILLIONS of Wayspots around the globe. You think a crowd sourced initiaitive doesn’t have some mistakes in there?

There’s no conspiracy. Stop worrying about what already exiats and focus on your OWN submissions.

I understood that these were ones that you did not feel should be Wayspots. Having not seen these in person, I can’t agree or disagree with you. Survey markers can be eligible:

and I can’t tell what that drainage marker thing is to have an opinion on it. But my guess would be that they had convincing information in their submissions.

Wayfarer needs to realize how frustrating this process is. You may call it trolling. But I am expressing how exasperating this is, and it truly is a massive confusing situation that you’re all ok with systemic unfairness.

With all due respect, you are certainly not the first person to point out “systemic unfairness” on the forum. If you are not willing to post your nominations so we can offer advice or insight, I’m not sure what your point is.

You can use the links at the top of the forum to report things for removal that are unsafe access ie in a road, or on single family homes ie private residential property. You can alternatively report these in game.

These items don’t have a bearing on your submissions which are a separate process. You can share your rejected nominations for us to help with if you want.

Chill out. Personally i have thousands of rejection over the course of 11 years of submission since ingress. So much that i grown numb with it. Its not fun everytime i receive rejection. But we can work around it to improve next submission.

Your fellows on this forum certainly do recognize how frustrating it can be to participate in Wayfarer.

There seem to be some systemic problems that Niantic seems unwilling or unable to resolve, like in-game prompts that mislead new Wayfarers that their suggestions will go directly into the game they nominate from.

To succeed we must find compliant stuff and present it in a manner that other Wayfarers will recognize and accept, or that Machine Learning will allow, or that the Appeals staff will agree on.

Even then, a little bit of luck and a big stubborn streak are necessary as well.
