Need to Change Accepted Wayspots

Hey, I recently uploaded some nominations from upload later into wayfarer. I held the set of nominations that I saw, and went to make dinner.
Later when I came back to my computer, I saw that more had uploaded, but not at the same time as the previous set, it had been delayed by 5 minutes, and I had walked away by then. They then sat in queue and were accepted by the Algorithm or AI. These nominations had no title or description set, and are gibberish. I was in the car while nominating, and did not have time to put in real title/descriptions, as I wanted to submit them while I was still in range.
I was hoping I could get the titles/descriptions updated to accurate info.

Title: Eastern Pavilion at the MacDonald US-36 Rest Stop
Description: This is a pavilion with picnic tables, and is a great place to rest while traveling.

In the future I will be writing low effort ones when submitting, and fleshing them out when I get home.

Go ahead and submit title and description edits. Hopefully AI will accept them too, so they’ll be nice quickly.

If this happened to me, I would have asked help chat to add in the intended titles and descriptions. But if you have already submitted edits, don’t also ask help chat.

Forgot to mention the main issue: These are 600 km away from my current location, and I will not be returning to the area for at least a year.

Did you explain to them that you could not submit the edits in game? I would try again and hope you get a different person addressing the issue.

This is why its important to enter relevant information rather than just giberish.

Or have nominations go to auto-hold.

Sure, as a feature request. But currently the submission system askes you to enter correct information, and the final step is to confirm the information is correct. Relevant information makes that correct, giberish means you’re lying when hitting confirm.

As Cyndie said try helpchat again saying it’s impossible to make the edits.

Barring help directly from Niantic, perhaps we have an Ingress agent here within 50km of that part of NW Kansas (I know, a long shot) who could make the edits?
