Hostile environment for a gym. Downgrade possible?

Good evening,

I’m hoping I could get some information about reporting players extremely bad behaviour. I recently moved and was excited to see a children’s play park with a gym within walking distance from my house.

However there is a group of…very passionate players.

There are weekly shouting matches about who took over the gym which can generally be ignored. However, I’ve noticed it escalating into stuff being thrown and shoving matches

Is there anything that can be done? Change the gym to a pokestop? Reporting player names? I’d take a video, but Japanese laws are quite strict when it comes to videos.

*my concern is that this is all happening at a kids park

If the property management is unhappy, they can request modification or removal of the gym with the link provided at the top here under “Wayspot Removals”:

Our town just had raids turned off at the senior center in the local park because of complaints from citizens about us. They left the gym there, but it doesn’t spawn raids now, and staff here confirmed that a request had been made.

Thanks for the info. I think it’s a city park, but I’ll try to bring it to the attention of the community council.

Is there local park staff?… a park director or manager might be high enough rank to make the request
