How do we improve wayfarer where wayfarer activity is low?

Fantastic, 10 points

When do you think that great suggestion will be implemented?

:black_small_square:︎ changing review flow
:black_small_square:︎ adding criteria clarification
:black_small_square:︎ adding edits to our contribution page
:black_small_square:︎ increase the amount of appeals

You know I’m new to this, but this is my watching list for recent changings.
Are they all good (enough)? :woman_shrugging:t2:
Is there air for doing more improvent? Yesssss

Which of those do you think have made a difference either positive or negative?

Orrrrrrr are you saying I like what I get is the same as I get what I like :smile_cat:

My favorite is edits on contribution page :hugs:
For the others, my newby feeling is, 1 and 2 need adjustment and 4 can’t cushion this enough

It was so clear that my answer annoys you

I live to please!

Tomorrow.

edits being added is a good one.

Curioser and curiouser…

getting back to the title, there have been some great suggestions if i can round them all up. we could combine the idea of an effort to help wayfarers in underserved communities with a mini challenge of sorts, if niantic would step in and allow unlimited bonus hops for it. i wouldn’t even need a reward for doing that, i just don’t want to be locked into an area with very little to review for three months. (we could have unlimited bonus hops right now and i would not know it, since i am happy with the flow of reviews i am getting from my bonus area.

lolololol as Ambassador @seaprincesshnb eloquently puts it.

Does anyone have any more suggestions for the back of the drawer?

Yeah the idea of an incentive is to capture more people than just the few very dedicated people on the forum who are the most likely to respond to something without the incentive.

I work in marketing and even for a 5 minute customer survey if we dont offer them something, the response rate plummets, very interesting!

I’m happy to see you are warming to the idea of intentionally reviewing other languages

makes complete sense, but i think the dedicated people on here who would pursue it without rewards could have a huge impact - like i believe i have seen that you have done already. the people who are doing it for the love of wayfarer are, imo, more likely to take it seriously and do a good job than people just in it for a reward. but maybe there is something someone more thoughtful that me could come up with that would be a good incentive…

only because people like you are so helpful with them.

oh and so many skips was huge! if i didn’t think i was grasping the nuance, i could skip!

Oh another thing i meant to link to this is that Niantic could confirm that there is a lack of reviewers for the mini challenge area like here:

Then we have a series of mini-Challenges that change every 6-8 hours or so for a few days to help clear them out?

y’all are the idea people. i was thinking maybe a service day once a month with a candidate identified by admin as needing help, but wow, your idea could clear out some areas fast!

I would love this

And this as well :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I did quite a number of reviews today - more than 50, maybe 100, and dont recall seeing more than 1 or 2 moroccan reviews

Around half of my reviews have been English edits. Im bored of capitalisation changes

So far the “helping” seems very unhelpful

Honestly, @tehstone addressed this as soon as Morocco came up as a location. The WF system seems to be designed to never completely run out. It will always hold some nominations in reserve for reviewing.
