How to request a location edit on a Waystop that is not in Pokemon Go?

Hello,

I, like many other PoGo players, got excited and started submitting Waystops before understanding L14/L17 cells and the Pokestop limitations set in each.

I submitted, and got approved, a waystop for a playground set. Unfortunately, I placed the pin ~5 feet away from an empty cell. If I was to move the pin, it would still clearly be on the playground set, but would also then become a live Pokestop in-game, which was the whole point of trying to add it in the first place.

My question is, how can I request a location edit on a Waystop that is not active in PoGo? Is there a forum to fill out, or a different game to play, where this could be done?

If the location is already correct, it’s unlikely to be adjusted just to make it appear in a game.

You can use the Help Chat but I would not recommend if the correct location is in a “correct” location.

Moving from 1 correct location to another correct location can be classed as Abuse and cause warnings / suspensions in Wayfarer and you game accounts.

If you would like to share the location, we can look around and see if we can help you find another point of interest to submit, rather than trying to move a Wayspot that is already correctly located. But do be aware this is a public forum if you would rather not share your location.
