I recently emigrated from my country to Argentina. Before emigrating, I had submitted fourteen PokeStop proposals to my local community. After my arrival in Argentina, members of the community informed me that my proposals were being accepted, as a new PokeStop had already been announced.
While in Argentina, I attempted to log into my Wayfarer account to check the status of my submissions. However, upon logging in, I discovered that my account had been permanently suspended. I would like to request assistance with this matter, as I have not done anything wrong. I also have immigration documents that can verify my presence in Argentina.
I would sincerely appreciate it if anyone could help me resolve this issue.
If your suspension was triggered through wayfarer, then it shouldn’t be anything to do with you moving to Argentina.
Typically when you receive a Wayfarer related suspension, you’ll receive emails saying that you’ve been suspended and giving you a brief explanation of what you did to warrant the suspension. If you’ve not received these emails, one of the Niantic staff on the forum may be able to DM you and give you an explanation.
Hello,
You said members of the community told you about the accepted wayspots. Have you not received emails about those?
Try to find those emails and that is where any other emails should be.
I don’t think logging into your Wayfarer account from another area would cause this. Do you have any other devices logged into the games back where you used to live? This could be seen as abuse, so to me, it seems it may be a PoGo issue instead of Wayfarer.
Whenever you log into Wayfarer, regardless of where you are and what device you are using, you get logged out of any other device you may have been logged into for Wayfarer.
This isn’t the case with the games, as you don’t get logged out, as they need to know your location in order for you to play the game. if you have more than 1 device logged in at the same time at different locations, this could be an issue and seen as trying to falsify your location or play at multiple locations at the same time. Also, if you shared your login info for any of the games with anyone from your home country and they have been using this, this may also be seen as abusive.
Yes, I did receive the email informing me that one of my proposals had been accepted. That was the reason I tried to log into my Wayfarer account. I wanted to check the status of my other submissions, since I had submitted several. I wanted to see if any of them had progressed, at least to the voting stage, and which ones they were. But at that moment, when I tried to log in to Wayfarer, my account was already suspended.
Sharing account is not allowed. That is definitely ban able. Not to mention you are travelling far away. That will make u looks like spoofing. Anyway wayfarer team have ald stated that ban doesnt come from wayfarer, u nd to appeal to pokemon go
But are you sure you dont receive any email? Recheck all email that might got related somehow to pokemon go/ingress/wayfarer or any other niantic games
2 people arent allowed to use the same account, that’s against the Terms of Service (ToS). One account per person, and you only access your own account, not anyone else’s.
If your brother wants to submit new waypoints, he will need to start his own account and reach the required level (which doesn’t take very long nowadays)
I am sorry that you got banned, but you did break the ToS with this situation.
