In my own home place it’s impossible to make a gym or pokestop

For more than a year I have made 9 Nominations Accepted 3 places from scratch and 19 Nominations Reviewed , other than that I have tried several times to make at least a pokestop near by my home and every single time I got a rejection even after appeal and the only answer is
{< "Thanks for the appeal, Explorer! The nomination is connected to Red Garden rose plants which is a natural feature and it falls under rejection criteria.
If there is an information sign which represents the location to be a public attraction site, it would greatly increase the odds of this nomination being eligible. We recommend you review the Wayspot Criteria before submitting your next Wayspot contribution>}
I live in compound and it’s not easily to get your family out of compound or for going a community garden
Any help in this case , really we suffer for missing most of events and all blame on me the father

Have you reviewed the Wayfarer Criteria? There isn’t always something nearby that qualifies.

I am not familiar with living in a compound, but if there are common areas for the community, there could be some eligible points of interest there. If you want to share your location, some people here are good at using Maps to find something to suggest. But just wanting a Pokestop doesn’t mean you will be able to have one.

Thanks for replaying me I am father of 2 noty boy and uncle for 1 girl and 2 boys as well I play this game since 2016 before my kids got born for my most passion for game series and how I know every single pokemon and its move name, effective weakness how I get legendary and shiny winning raid or pvp these kids and the elder one is 8 years old. This passion has turned to them but unfortunately I am not available all the time and all other family members are reject the idea as I work as ATC my shifts are not stable and sometime I sleep all daylight to get ready for overnight I know this not niantic issue is mine but the game is depending on how player are interacting with other and I don’t think if the player dose n’t have something to be proud of will interact with others it will be always lake and distance and I don’t wanna they feel that although I always trade all my best for my little monkey even my bodies one if they desire it
Any way there is no way to get the home place as pokestop or gym I figure out that and I was thinking if someone has idea to get that dream come true
Appreciate guys for get attention for kind of hopeless SOS CALL and wish best for all of you

Just want to let you know that if you want to use a different language here in the forums, you are welcome to. English is not required, as we do have a translator, so any language can be used by anyone.

I don’t quite understand what you mean when you mention you live in a compound. When I think compound, I think either a military base, a prison, etc. If you are willing to provide the general location of where you live, we can certainly take a look around to see if there is anything that may be eligible.

Another thread you may want to look at, even if this isn’t a rural area, is the rural area nomination tips thread. It lists many great POIs to look for, and even myself have used it in both rural and urbsan areas.

And, as Cyndie noted, do make sure that you look over the Wayspot Criteria to know what may or may not be eligible, and also the Criteria Clarification Collection is helpful.

Hello,
The best thing is for you to post your full nomination so we can see if there is an issue and if possible find solutions.

Generally, if you think you can have a pokestop and/or gym at your home, thats not gonna work unless you have something closeby thats worthy of becoming one.
You seem to have submitted things like a rose garden, and of course the community and/or Niantic have rejected this, as a Rose Garden isnt worthy of becoming one, unless, as you have learned, theres some Information sign for it.

The game is called Pokemon Go, and it does require you to travel outside of your home. If that isnt possibile for you and your family, you might just play something on the Switch/Switch 2 that does not require you to get outside of your home.

You need to understand that Wayferer is a program to build a database map that all Scopely games can use to create game play locations, and it’s up to each game to decide which locations appear in their games, based on the density/inclusion rules. PoGo allows 1 Wayspot per L17 S2 cell, with gyms appearing in the larger L14 S2 cells. More info can be found here: https://pokemongohub.net/post/featured/comprehensive-guide-s2-cells-pokemon-go/

Wayfarer just supplies the data, and has nothing to do with the game play. This is an issue that you will have to figure out on your own. I know many kids that would love to be able to play PoGo with an adult in their lives, but don’t get to as they don’t spend much time with them or the adult doesn’t want them playing video games. I know a parent that won’t let their kids have smartphones until they are adults, and they’re too busy to play with their kids; at least they still get to watch the series and collect the cards, so the kids aren’t too unhappy.

Wayfarer can’t help with this, as Wayspots are not allowed at single family private residential properties (SFPRP), and a rose garden in someone’s yard at their SFPRP is ineligible. Flower gardens that are just landscaping are also usually ineligible, as the flowers may change from year to year, may have to replanted every spring (like they are where I live), etc. Now, if the plants are part of a botanical garden and has an information sign that educates one about the plant, that may be eligible as a great place to explore, as that plant will be there for the foreseeable future, not be temporary.

I’d highly recommend looking at the crtieria to know what may or may not eligible. Unfortunately, because of the criteria, we don’t always get to have Wayspots where we’d like to have them. My city as a good deal of neighborhoods that are just SFPRP and nothing esle, so most do have to go to other places in the city to play, like parks, colleges, downtown, or even the mall. I’d love to have a Wayspot at my apartment building, but there’s nothing here that meets criteria, so I do have to go elsewhere to play, but that’s kind of the point of the games; they are meant to encourage you to get out and explore, not play from your home.
