There are 2 waypoints currently but they share a cell so no Gym currently (1 stop and 1 max powerspot).

The L17 cells (green cells) can only have 1 Pokestop or Gym.
The larger L14 cell (red) determines when a Stop will convert to a Gym depending on how many L17 cells are occupied.

  • 2 Occupied Cells = 1 Stop + 1 Gym.
  • 6 Occupied Cells = 4 Stops + 2 Gyms.
  • 2 Occupied Cells = 17 Stops + 3 Gyms.

As you only have 1 occupied cell you need another. Either the new wayspot or the current wayspot will convert to a Gym, the selection is Random.
