These are nominations that have been rejected by the community, are there any acceptable ones? They are all paintings or ornaments in front of restaurants or in the lobby of buildings. They’re all business buildings, or rejected because they’re not permanent, but they’ve been around for years and are not franchised stores. I wonder if there’s a chance that they’ll appeal and get approved. I have a lot of things to appeal to, so I have to be careful.
Hey, for the international audience here, it can be quite hard to give you good advice because the texts of your nominations are all in Korean (is that correct?) which is not a widespread language. If your nominations require a lot of context through the nomination text then this makes it pretty much impossible even.
What I can tell you for sure though is that you should give up on the Gustav Klimt “painting”. Unless it’s an original, those can be bought for 20 bucks in online stores and such common items would usually not fulfill any eligibility criteria as they are way too common and just not that interesting.
Not everyone may know this, but there are reverse image searches that can translate text. I used Google Lens on the this one, and there doesn’t seem to be much context for it.
With unique art, if you know who the artist is, that’s always a good thing to include. Otherwise, if you don’t know, you may want to just describe the artpiece better, maybe mention what mall it’s located at, too.
I’m going to skip the Klimt “painting,” as I also don’t think that’s an original, but rather a reprint. 1 supporting info is for that, so I’ll skip it as well.
It seems like this may be a water fountain, but again, a better description may be needed. Yes, water flows from a water fountain, so that’s not something we need to be told. I’d maybe note where the fountain is located at, and add in that is has a unique feature of admitting smoke. The supporting info you provided seems to do this more than the description, but the supporting info should be used to note how a nomination meets criteria, not describe the nomination.
First of all, I apologize. I uploaded the wrong picture. To explain the picture, a male picture is hanging at the entrance of the restaurant. It is not a special person, but a picture of an ordinary man. I applied because it was only in this restaurant, not in the nearby restaurant. Personally, I applied because it was impressive and unique. The picture was just printed. The second picture is a cabinet at the entrance of the restaurant, and the water flows and the lights turn on at night. I applied because this is also a unique decoration that is only found in this restaurant. It was rejected because it was considered common decoration in our community. If you go to another area, there are similar types of paintings or decorations, but at least there is no same in this area, so I submitted it. Thank you
it’s a map link https://naver.me/F3TylEtm https://naver.me/5mIiCV1L
The fountain I’d try resubmitting. I find that to be unique, even if there are other similar ones in the area. The description just needs to be improved, like I previously noted.
With the art piece of the man, that might be harder to get approved. It looks like it could be a sticker or decal, not a permanent piece of art. This again is where adding more details to the description may help.
