Okay, so i submitted a photo and location change for pokestop nearby, it was at the park benches first, so i decided to move it near the entry point.
Anyways, so i have been waiting for a month, bit they didnt even reject or accept it. Can somebody tell me why?
Also why is there no power spot in my area, like i have to miss out on, gigaraids and cool max pokemons, because there is not one nearby.
I remember the time when some of my nominations would be stuck in the queue for over 2 years. Those were the days.

Is this the wayspot you discussed previously?
If this is a wayspot that represents the park as a whole then you shouldn’t try to move it to another place in the park.
The point that it is is at is likely to be considered correct and moving it to a different location could be considered that you are trying to manipulate the game board. If that is the case then that is considered wrong, and you could have sanctions imposed.
You can contact helpchat and ask if it is possibly to withdraw the location edit as you realise it is now wrong.
In future if you have location edits you can ask helpchat and they will respond quickly.

The following information anbout Powerspots is derived from community observation
Powerspots are essentially from 2 sources either imported locations or community created wayspots that dont meet the requirements to be used in Pokémon Go asst ops/gyms. You can therefore possibly created wayspots that may become powerspots.
It needs to meet wayfarer criteria and be accepted as a wayspot.
That wayspot needs to be in a S2 Level 17 cell. That already has a stop or gym - so that this wayspot can’t be used as a stop/gym.
And it needs to be 22m from any pokestop or gym ( distance dependent not cell related)
If it meets those requirements it is likely to appear as a Powerspot at some point. Unlike stops/gyms powerspots appear to be available in game on a rotation - so sometimes be available for a month.
So even addition of new wayspots wont help?
Its not that wayspot, but you are right, this wayspot’s new location and old location are the same park, so it indeed is wrong, i just realized that, i will try to remove the nomination
If you add new Wayspots that are 22m from an existing Pokestop or gym and are not eligible to be Pokestops or gyms, they will be eligible to be used as Powerspots.
Those ones shown as “in voting” should resolve in a day or two (approximately). Sometimes when you submit a lot of things that are close together (physically), it can cause them to be in queue for longer, because the system doesn’t want to spam reviewers with s bunch of stuff in one neighborhood.
That may be your experience, but I would never tell anyone that nominations in voting will resolve in a day or two.
The speed at which nominations get through depend on a number of factors. 1 of which is the number of people reviewing at a given time.
I did say “should” not “will”, but the point is taken. Usually the lengthy delays I get are pre-voting.
In order to create powerspot, you need to know how s2 cell works although niantic never acknowledge this. Assuming C and D already pokestop/gym, submitting park entrance at either E or F will probably create powerspot assuming the distance is more than 22m from nearest wayspot.. While submitting the sport field at A will create pokestop and submitting it at B will create powerspot.
Basically only one wayspot per cell can become pokestop/gym and the rest unused wayspot in same cell will become powerspot in rotation (its community observation that it need minimum distance of 22m)

Short story, yes. When you submit 2nd wayspot within same cell with pokestop/gym (which is more than 22m) it might become powerspot in rotation (please note that powerspot sync is not regular and might take a while to appear)
No one has addressed your time question so I’ll get into it. The reason your edits are taking much longer to resolve compared to your new nominations is because the review area is different. Edits only get seen by reviewers who are close to your location. The review area is 1/4 the size. They also never get pushed out to the country wide review pool and have no rural preference so the only way to speed them up is to upgrade them.
Edits have always taken longer for me, so I didn’t speak to them. Especially location edits, where as a reviewer, I most frequently have checked the "Unable to find … " option. I almost always use help chat to submit location edits now.
