The post also says you have to be 18+ years old, and then this part from the post is important:
Explorers will be selected to become Ambassadors primarily based on their geographic location, knowledge of Wayfarer (both experts and novices), historical Wayfarer Community engagement, Niantic’s Mission, and their responses to the application questions. The ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English is a requirement as all meetings, updates, feedback, etc will be initiated in English.
So, if you are more active in wayfarer, the better, but it is not an obligation to be super active.
However, being able to communicate well in English is very much needed

There are many different ways, some camera apps have it built in as a setting you can Google. But there are also other camera apps you can download, for example GPS Map camera. I think those are the easiest
thank you i try it because the wayfarer support they said “Please attach a geotagged photo of the location to this correspondence and we will be happy to evaluate it” and im not sure how can i do it
I personally use the 2nd one on your screenshot
