Hello why hasn’t my accepted location not shown up in pokemon go?

There could be a few reasons for this.

it depends on when it was accepted. It could take 48 hours or more to sync into the different Niantic games. And recently Monday syncs have been skipped in Pokemon Go.

an accepted nomination goes into a map database that each game can pick from based on their unique rules. Pokemon Go uses a density rule (Ingress uses distance). So your nomination may be accepted to the map but may not make it into your game(s) unfortunately.

on occasion something else is going on. Some areas request not to have things in Pokemon Go.
If you include the coordinates people can check for you what may be going on.

@LetsRollGirl already covered much of this, but here is my standard answer for folks looking for their pokestop:
I know the prompt tells you that you are submitting a “Pokestop” but you are actually submitting a Wayspot to the Lightship database, which can only become a Pokestop or gym if it is alone in a level 17 S2 cell. I’m not on the forums often, but good to know about the no syncs on Monday. Came here looking to see if anyone was having problems today. Three lone-cell acceptances yesterday and this morning and I was wondering where they were this afternoon.
