While adding new Wayspots, I noticed that some existing ones were in the wrong location. If they were moved to the correct location, they would be eligible in certain games like Pokémon Go.
I’m wondering how I can move them, since I don’t have access to do so in-game. If I submit a new one in the right location, it will likely be marked as a “duplicate.”

You can use the wayfarer help chat at the tab “help”. A text bubble will appear bottom right corner and choose the location edit option.
Human team does want to have good evidence like a geotagged photo.
Also 2 important points. Moving wayspots from their correct location to a wrong location or better location is considered abuse and could lead to sanctions on your account.
Secondly, the human team from the wayfarer help chat has their own idea where the wayspot should be located, so it might not always be your wished outcome.

I may have been unclear. Currently, the Wayspots are in the wrong places. If I put them in the correct spots, they will be in new cells and eligible. So, what I’m trying to do is move them from being misplaced to being correctly placed. I’m not trying to exploit the system by moving a Wayspot that is already in the right place; it’s quite the opposite. I have the GPS coordinates if you need them, and you can see from the satellite view that it’s in the wrong place. I’d like to know how to move it to the correct spot, as I don’t have access to do it in-game

The othee section of my comment is just there to be sure and to inform. It was not specifically meant for you, just an important sidenote.
GPS co-ordinates would be great, if you could supply the co-ordinates where you plan to move that would be great and someone can take a look.
Location Edits up to 10 metres are available in game if you are at Level 35? (recently changed, I believe edits are the same), otherwise the Help Chat is the way to go.
@AMG7070 ‘s comments warning about sanctions is just to make sure you are aware. We don’t want you to risk your accounts (it can affect wayfarer and game accounts).

As you state that this would be a move to another cell this is likely to be scrutinised more.

As @AMG7070 explained, help chat can move these for you with evidence. Go to the help link here:

and a chat box will pop up. The option says it is for Location Edits >10m but they will do any that you can’t do yourself in game no matter the distance. A bot will ask for information, but a human will reply. Help chat does not generate emails.
Some people lose their help chat history, and prefer to use a reporting form to set up an email chain. You can use the form listed at the top here under “Wayspot Removals” to report any needed modification:
Just pick the closest options to what you want to do, then explain where you have the option. You can submit evidence this way as well. The acknowledgement email may ask for your credentials as property owner, but do not reply to this email. A staff member will get back to you.
And again, because it is so important for anyone skimming or if this link gets shared out of context, moving Wayspots simply to make them show up in Pokemon Go is considered abuse. The location corrections must be genuine corrections.
