My accepted Pokestop has a misspelled word. How can i get it fixed?

I have a Pokestop that was accepted (yay) but my blind buns misspelled the word carousel! Yes embarrassing. Is there a way to fix this?

  • A screenshot of your nomination, including rejection reasons if it has already been rejected
  • Include the title, description, both photos, and supplemental information
  • Copy and paste the title, description and supplemental so others can translate them
  • If you feel comfortable please share the location, as it is helpful (i.e. hidden duplicates), but you can mask it if you wish.

Hi, welcome! Note that not every wayspot you submit is going to become a Pokéstop due to how Pokémon GO’s inclusion rules work, but if you know it appears in this game and it is the only game you are Wayfarer eligible in, you need to get to that location physically and open the Pokéstop screen. Then you need to press the arrow to the right of the Pokéstop title, then the three dots on the top right of the next screen, then select “Edit Title”. Make your edit and after a community review period of varying duration you should have a result. Hope this helps!

just for context: “varying duration” being anyting form 2 hours to 3 years.

i have heard of both outcomes…

But if the correction is spelt correclty it will get through eventually. (unlike most of my dyslexic rambeling on this fourm)
