New forest wait time?

Hey anyone know the wait time / voting time in the new forest, England. thanks!

There isn’t really a specific wait time but I would say anything longer than 1-2+ months is unusual. If you review in the area you can speed up the process by clearing other nominations and if you use upgrades they will speed up your nominations.

and with an upgrade?

Any answers here are just guesses as it depends on several factors.

  • How many reviewers covering your area.
  • How many nominations in your area still outstanding.
  • Multiple nominations in close proximity tend to enter voting 1 at a time.

Also Note: The Upgrades only speed up the “In Voting” stage by sending it to a wider review audience. It can take over a week to get to that stage.

I am in Yorkshire, my nominations have not taken more than a couple of weeks with upgrades (I don’t do that many in 1 go so I have plenty of upgrades to do them all).

For me it’s typically a week or less, two weeks at a maximum.

It does depend on the number of reviewers in the area as already stated, but I also think that “higher quality” submissions get approved more quickly because they reach whatever voting threshold there is more easily.. so if something is spending longer than usual in voting it might be that reviewers are having a difficult time deciding.

The upgrade opens the submission to a wider pool of reviewers, meaning it gets through review quicker, once it has got into the voting pool. The upgrade does not speed up the process of going from the queue to being in voting.

The time this takes depends on how many other pending nominations are in the area and also a random delay of 1-7 days.
