I had also great nomination of flower shop whit a restaurant and now its a powerspot,
Overal most are on good locations, most are shops, or waypoints that are in same cell. There is also a double location on the highway .is it also possible to report them true sharing location ? Since you cant reach them on foot and can not report them. Then they can maybe pop up on safer location.
Iām aware of that method - just wanted to check in. I think thatās the first Iāve seen somebody claim a removal request worked.
The first day I reported a Burger King that closed 5+ years ago but is still a Powerspot.

I submitted a waypoint, and while it was being rejected by Emily and sent to appeal, a max spot appeared for a business at one of the flats in the building
My new waypoint appeared tonight but itās unclickable in PoGo because itās merged with the max point

I am not entirely sure why they need to rotate to so many different places, I guess thats another reason why they had to add so many peopleās houses to the database to āimproveā it.
I like your idea that they could fuse with a pokestop - maybe thats what mine was going for after all, gyms spawn raids but also give items when interacting, so maybe power spots that take over pokestops could also give items in that way?
I do think its a bit of a concern with how many of these spots are bad, especially when compared to the wayfarer ones. I dont think its bad to have these at proper business locations, generic or otherwise, but I donāt think all the home business run from SFPRP are good ideas

I think that they needed so much is because the current concept makes it necessary.
Now the Dynamax Raid Bosses are out. If you defeat one you can place one of your dm pokemon inside. But at this powerspot never comes a raid boss again. But you got many tasks about winning dm raids. So you have to go to the nextā¦
I didnāt try jet to call one of mine back, so idk if this triggers to appear a new raid boss
