To be honest, PoGo has long gone here in the Philippines and people who would learn that we still play PoGo would onlynlaugh at us.

I disagree. It is some parts of the country that still have traditional views that look down on people having hobbies that do not contribute financially. I have found friends that are leaders in their own fields and in PoGO.

Having a not so great economy, playing PoGo is but a luxury here because of the amount of money you need to spend just to play the game.

That said, having a non-financially contributing hobby will always be a luxury. It is by definition a luxury.

What I really wanted is that our community here would be given sufficient Poke Stops and especially Poke Gyms because I personally had to travel 1-3 hours in a particular Mall in the upper part of Metro Manila where there are 5 poke gyms all inside in one mall. If you had the chance to experience the chaotic traffic here in Metro Manila, you would understand where my frustration is coming from.

I do get the frustration whether it is Metro Manila, Tagaytay, or Urdaneta, traffic follows where the industry is. I am the same as you if I want to have a grind at the games.

I’d like you to reframe the role of Wayfarer in the creation of pokestops. Wayfarer only reflects reality through showing the places where leisure happens. Pokemon GO does not create places for leisure, rather reality should have these (and other QoL amenities) for the people. The root of the problem would lie in the logistics of irl interaction.
